BURN TIME: About 4-6 hours.

SOY WAX CANDLES:

Each clean burning tealight will give you about 6 hours or more of burn time, and unlike other tea light candles which come in metal molds, ours won’t get hot to the touch. Ours come in plastic cups which you can handle easily without getting burned! Of course these are also recyclable and flame resistant.

A great choice of you want to light up a space without any aroma.

ADVICE - ABOUT CANDLES:

Lead & Zinc free wicks and no dyes in our candles

G.P. Soy feels that most people’s homes will be complimented by the fragrance of the candle and not the color of it. We use clear glassware to show the beauty and simplicity of the candle itself. Some waxes have a natural color to them but this will be a pale soft color that will work in most everyone’s decor.

THERE IS A LOT MORE TO KNOW ABOUT BURNING A CANDLE THAN JUST LIGHTING THE WICK

When burning a candle for the first time, may we suggest that you burn it for about one hour for each inch of the diameter of the candle. This will allow for a pool of wax to extend to the outside edges of the candle and should prevent your candle from forming a tunnel down the center. Doing this will release the most fragrance or scent throw from your candle.

Your candle has a memory so every time you burn the candle it will remember to burn to its edge.

Try not to burn your candle more than 3-4 hours at a time as it will fatigue the glassware and may break! It is a good idea to set your candles on protected, heat-resistant surfaces.

Soy wax cleans up easily with soap and water, but remember; it’s still an oil and you should not be poured down the drain.

Make sure when you blow out your tea lights that the wick doesn’t move from the middle of the container. Wicks that are off centered can melt the plastic tea light cup. If you get a tea light that is already off centered, we will replace it. ALWAYS place your tea lights in or on a heat-resistant container.

Remember to trim the candle wick to 1/4″ long before each use, and never move until flame is out and wax is completely solid. Be sure not to over trim the wick. Although we use heat safe glass, an improperly trimmed wick can create high flame and high temperature forming deep melt pool and fatigue the glass.

SOME GOOD ADVICE

  • Keep wax free of wick trimmings, matches and other debris.

  • Avoid drafts and vibrations and keep out of reach of children and pets.

  • Never burn your candle on or near anything flammable.

  • Burn your candle within sight and extinguish with care.

  • Container will be hot when candle is lit.

  • Do not burn if wax level is below 1/4 inch.

  • Never use container lid to put out flame.
